Brian Hill is the Head Coach for the Mansfield Destroyers in 

their 2019 NYCBL Inaugural Season. Hill helped lead the Elmira Pioneers to the 2006 playoffs in the NYCBL and the 2007 NYCBL Championship, along with the PGCBL 2013 West Division Championship. In 2017, Hill was named Head Coach of the Elmira Pioneers and led them to 27 wins and a trip to the PGCBL Divisional Championship. the past two years. In Coach Hill's First Year at the Helm he Lead the Destroyers to the Playoffs reaching the West Division Championship Round in the inaugural season.

  Prior to Hill's tenure with the Pioneers, he was the 2004 Mid State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and the Gaffer baseball Head Coach and General Manager. In 2001, Hill reinstated the defunct baseball program at Corning Community College and continued as Head Coach there for 9 seasons (2001- 2010). Hill is also an Associate Professor at Corning Community College teaching physical education, coaching, health and wellness

With a passion for sports medicine and extensive experience treating athletic injuries, Kyle Ungvarsky, MD is the perfect fit for the Mansfield Destroyers’ team physician. Dr. Ungvarsky is a board-certified sports and family medicine physician at the Mansfield Laurel Health Center with over 12 years of specialized training.


He works closely with local physical therapists and athletic trainers to help people of all ages safely return to play. While earning his medical degree, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at Michigan State University, where he treated athletes from D1 baseball, football, hockey, basketball, wrestling, track and field, and soccer. 

His services include injury prevention, injury evaluation, and rehabilitation for people of all ages and activity levels, including guided ultrasound injections and customized therapy for concussions, ligament tears, fractures, chronic pain, infections, blisters, rashes, lacerations, sprains, illness, and fatigue. 

Currently, Dr. Ungvarsky sees patients at the Mansfield Laurel Health Center, 416 S Main St., as well as serving as team physician for the Mansfield Destroyers and Mansfield University sports. In addition to treating athletic injuries, he treats injuries and chronic pain resulting from falls, accidents, daily wear-and-tear, and repetitive motion.    Dave coached with Coach Hill for the elite Travel Gaffer Baseball Team from 2010-2013. Dave has coached baseball for the Campbell-Savona school district from 2007 to present. He was General Manager and Coach for the Campbell Brewers in the Corning Elmira Adult League. Dave brings over 28 years of experience as a baseball coach. Coach Hill says,

"Dave is a very knowledgeable baseball guy and will be a great addition to the Destroyer’s coaching staff, I am looking forward to working alongside Dave again this summer." stated Coach Hill.

Coach Swan helped coach them to the West Division Championship last year.





   Terry has been coaching for over 30 years at the High School level along with inter collegiate ball. Has worked with Pitchers and Fielding.
